I'm a believer, as well. The day vaccines are no longer needed because contagious disease has been effectively eliminated will be cause for celebration, indeed.

I'm curious about the OP's reasoning for the question, but I suppose it could be any number of things. If she ever returns, she'll have a lot of reading to do Laughing

@ossobuco,
You can get scarlet fever again and there isn't a vaccine for it. Usually it occurs as a result of untreated strep throat. It is from the same bacteria that causes strep throat.

My daughter had it too and it is easily treated just like strep throat.
