I like cats and dogs. Over the past two years my wife and I have lost
two dogs and one cat to illness leaving us with two awesome cats.

We had talked about and researched getting a dog for quite some time
and we found the perfect puppy over the weekend. Today is day two.

Introducing Gracie ~

@H2O MAN,

I like the part where's she's considering working her way up to a howl ... and decides against it

CJ, she is a CockaPoo. Her mom is a white and brown Cocker Spaniel and her dad is a cream colored Poodle. We had all three of them together at the kennel.

My wife picked her name and it is perfect.

I'll post additional pictures as they become available.

@H2O MAN,
Oh she's a cutie. I love the bark - run - stalk - circle around - but don't actually touch - the toy mouse.

Thanks.

She chases the cats and they are giving her a wide berth right now.

We just returned from her first visit to the vet, she is healthy and weighs just over 7 pounds.

She is just adorable! What a little cutie.

I think she wants that little mouse to start moving and play with her. I'm not surprised she's chasing the cats--she's looking for a little action.

Gracie looks like a great addition to the family.

@firefly,

Gracie has been with us for a full week now and it's been great,
but her sharp teeth have me thinking that she is part piranha.

@H2O MAN,
Yeah, those baby teeth are like needles. Give her something to chew on
and she'll be busy for a while.

Yes, but the Kong tends to not bite back Wink

PS How is she doing with any training?

Her training is going very well, she is getting comfortable with her daily schedule.
Yesterday was the first time she actually retrieved her ball so I could throw it again.

It's all good.

@H2O MAN,
That's pretty good, and it goes to show you when you spend time with a puppy
it learns quickly and it's rewarding for both of you. That Gracie is sure a gem!
