Mmmm, I rather like the ESL folks, though I don't answer a lot.
I'm still thinking on one of the recent questions, re messenger RNA. To answer it, I'd have to study up, as I think the questioned text is biochemically wacky but can't just prove it.
Some of the esl'ers have been pretty good with english, Oristar for example, and in days of yore, J_B (or J-B), I forget. One by those initials was our JPB (now), and the other a chinese fellow who learned fast and then joined ordinary a2k threads. He's one of the missed people here, and living proof that people can learn fast, not immediately, but over many months.
Bella Trolla, sounds punchy. Reminds me of Troilus and Cressida, a tale of shakespeare's I've never read.
