Her Peds rotation was the first time she calmed down an hysterical child, a diabetic girl with collapsed veins who needed blood work.

Pediatrics Rotation in a teaching hospital, were students spend a certain amount of time called a rotation working in one specific medical specialty. Pediatrics of course is working with only children, often on problems that only children face or which is different for children than for adults.
