Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. They were dancers who made many movies together and are a famous partnership.

Fred and Ginger were dancers. They did alot of "ballroom dancing", but did what could be called "white man's" tap dancing. Basically, this type of tap is less agressive than what we call "jazz tap" which has a heavy degree of syncopation.
