I've been looking for an audio editing tool/software program that allows me to draw the sound wave free-hand.

@MrIVI,
Last year I transcribed for one of my transcription clients a class from Cogswell Polytech that mentioned software like that. It will take me a bit to find which transcription file it was in so give me a day or so.

@Butrflynet,
It didn't take as long as I thought it might. Here are the two software programs that were mentioned in the sound editing classes I transcribed:

First one is Propellarhead's Reason

http://www.propellerheads.se/products/reason/

Second one is MOTU's Digital Performer

http://www.motu.com/products/software/dp/

Not sure if they offer true free-hand drawing of sound waves, but it seemed the programs were flexible enough and sensitive enough to be nearly free-hand.
