"As a result of what I have learned, I am not out there dating, wasting people's time and toying with their emotions. I know what I want. During this process I have found people that I'm more compatible with than I had ever dreamed possible. There was only one problemÂ…. I had no physical attraction to them. I've done a good job of communicating my intellectual needs. Now, I have to find a physical attraction also"

Translation: "I used to go out and use the typical methods of meeting women and dating. However, I realized I only was going out with women who looked like something on the bottom of my shoe after wallowing through a mud pit on a hot day in July. Buy hey, some of these fat, ugly pigs actually have a personality, but like any person with standards, that doesn't cut it. So now, I'm offering $10K to someone to turn up a woman who can not only listen to my nonsense and banter all day, but isn't too bad to look at, either."

Have you, dlowan, heard of the animated movie called "The Point" from (I'm guessing) the 70s?

No, I fear not - but then, so much of the seventies is a sort of exciting blur....

Holy cannoli, I remember "The Point" (with music by Harry Nielsen, if I recall correctly). Nice beefcake pic.

Oh, as for the guy who's the subject of this thread, I'm suspicious if he feels the need to (in a roundabout fashion, yes, but ...) pay for companionship.
