@cicerone imposter,
I disagree!! the issue will be his physical health. If he is crazy he will fit in with the rest of the politicians and most voters. He will only have a problem mentally speaking if he is sane.

@realjohnboy,
Swell. Just Swell. Sorry, that's the punch line to an old joke.

I keep hoping we will have more dropouts than new contenders. Well, spit in one hand; hope in the other and see which one fills up first.

One thing is certain - US citizens are doing everything possible to survive what remains of
PrezBO's one and only term and the country does not want 4 more years of Obama's ****.

Poor Newt...

Quote:
Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich's campaign manager, senior strategists and key aides in early delegate-selection states all resigned on Thursday, a mass exodus that leaves his hopes of winning the Republican nomination in tatters.

Rick Tyler, Gingrich's spokesman, said he, campaign manager Rob Johnson and senior strategists had resigned, along with aides in the early primary and caucus states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Other officials said Gingrich was informed that his entire high command was quitting in a meeting earlier in the day. They cited differences over the direction of the campaign but were not more specific. More

@JPB,
Part of the story, JPB, could be that Texas Governor Rick Perry seems to be rethinking his earlier announcement that he had no intention of running for the White House. Several of the people bailing on Newt had initially committed to Perry and would be vital to his campaign. It looks like he may be on the verge of jumping in once the Texas legislature wraps up its session.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Hey, wait, she quit mid way as governor. Why would anyone vote for her for as president? I think of the press as superfluous to that question. Well, much of the press is superfluous and has been for eons. We will all probably differ on when and when they have not been.

I know a lot about Perry, and can't imagine that he has what it takes to win v. Obama. And I doubt that he thinks that he can, either.

@Finn dAbuzz,

You pompous little turd, do you really think this woman who has achieved far more than you ever will is incapable of laying traps for her enemies?

Achieved? Achieved what, exactly? Yes, she got elected gov. of Alaska - mostly based on her promises to hand out free money to the populace (which she did), something that you would abhor any Democrat doing.

Other than that, from what I can tell, she hasn't achieved ****, other than raising a crap family and taking your party for as much money as she possibly can. Her time in office as a Gov was a disaster and ethical nightmare, and the last time she ran for office, she failed miserably. I don't believe she's capable of 'laying traps' for her enemies, because the lady is a fool. And if you can't see that that's true, I'm honestly surprised, because - despite your often illogical and greed-based political opinions - you don't strike me as someone so gullible as to not know a grifter when you see one.

She'll never hold elected office again. Why would she? She's making plenty of money off of credulous idiots who think she's special in some way. The only thing special about her is that she's willing to put her anti-intellectualism on full display, in the way that more intelligent members of your party simply are not.
