@MontereyJack,
Easier route:
MicroSoft systems:
1) Highlight the text as per MJ's explanation or if you want all of the desired text click on the page to place your cursor in the proper position then hold down the
Ctrl button and hit
A [Ctrl A = Select All]
2) Then,
Ctrl C = Copy
3) Then go to the new page where you want to paste the copied text, click on the page to get your cursor in place, then
Ctrl V = Paste
When you right click and read the list of available commands, you can also see the shortcut keys to the right of each command.
Try it on any webpage, RJB. Try it right now on this page.
Ctrl A will blue/highlight the entire page. [Remember that
Ctrl A is only the select command]
Using MJ's method, you can be selective about which portions of a page you want to copy.
