Willie Nelson busted for pot (again)

Willie got himself arrested in Texas last week after authorities found 6 oz of marijuana in his tour bus. I immediately felt a pang of sympathy for him, probably because he seems like the ambassador of good will and harmony for many of us.

I can only hope this starts a national discussion which finally leads to the legalization of pot. Wishful thinking I know, but Willie is a good example of how relatively harmless a doobie is. He's like 97 years old for God's sake. Smoked it all his productive and prolific life.

Let him be, and others who choose to partake of the herb.
