Yes. I had deep feelings for someone I went out with and now we've been married for 20 years. You can't be too careful.

I think it's neither a good nor bad thing. Really, are you supposed to be deeply in love before the first date? Where would you meet someone like that? But surely, you wouldn't decline the company you really did care for.
