True. PCers are easily distracted by their insignificant rituals and lose out on the really important matters - like California's yes on 20, no on 27!

@High Seas,
Apparently you do, or you would not have referred to "colored people." People are people, color doesn't matter except to those who operate under some delusion about a relationship between skin color and humanity.

Except, of course, for you.

@Setanta,
I care about selling makeup to Farmerman?! Be serious. The post-downgrading trolls obviously care - maybe they'll post their sales pitch <G>

Except for Snood - wholly obsessed with the visible spectrum - who else here cares a lot about colors? Anybody?

Is this the spectrum and extent of your intelligence?

That describes Snood to a T - why else would he be asking what color is Farmerman? Nobody else here cares - or says he does.

Maybe because Farmerman said he was a colour? I too wondered what colour he was referring to. You, of course, have no colour since transparent is colourless.

Do you mean your posts also got downgraded to the point of invisibility? I think they're still visible, if someone clicks on the below visible threshold entry - or whatever the software calls the much-downgraded posts. If you meant that you're a victim of online obscurantism in general, there's a drastic solution Smile

Last time I looked at a crowd everyone was coloured...some pink, some brown, some with a little more red....visually pleasing, really.

People have been using thumbs to express untoward opinions ? They are all banned. Cowards and bigots everyone of them.

@High Seas,
No. Sadly, I don't remember what I meant - that would involve rereading and reconstituting, but it wasn't that people thumb me down. Or maybe it was about that, rather jokingly. I don't experience a lot of thumbs, and of the ones I do, I often take the point; of course, not always.
Let's call it a wry comment of the momentary.

Heck of a thread. Took me 2 days to read through it. I say no, no need to ban for untoward opinions.

The moderation here is pretty good;not too tight not too loose.

BTW The "rape" thread is a train wreck but most good threads here are. All in all Firefly's done a good moderating job even though both sides have gone over the top at times.

They drink in moderation before posting. Usually nothing more than 36 oz of 40 proof....quite moderate by their standards.
