At the same time, not even 17 is necessarily the end of the line when it comes to growing. I know people who continued to grow in college (taller as seniors than as freshmen).

I'm my mother's height. I really don't see myself growing. My doctor wasn't miraculously correct when he told me I wouldn't grow much, if any. I haven't grown much and I don't expect a sudden growth spurt when I'm 18 or 20.
