Me and my husband travel all over the U.S due to his job. we do not have a house in any state. Our mail goes to his mothers in West Virginia, our liscense are also from West Virginia. Does this mean we have to file IN West Virginia? When we travel we stay in RV campgrounds but are not there long enough usually to file in that state due to their residency law to file divorce. We want to do this fast and easy and do not want to travel all the way to West Virginia to file for divorce. Not only that but he cant because of his job. We are in Wyoming at the moment and would like to do it here because we will be here for two months and cant leave to go back "home". Please help.

@mommyof3,
Why are you still traveling together if you're looking to divorce?

@mommyof3,
One of you will need to establish residence somewhere in order to be able to file. Wyoming seems reasonable enough as you're already there for 2 months anyway. Ask a Wyoming attorney (initial consultations are often free) to give you information on residency requirements for the state and do what it takes to fulfill them -- even if it means that you stay in Wyoming at a campground or a motel for 4 months (or whatever) while he continues traveling. You are going to have to separate and establish separate households at some point, anyway, so you might as well start now.
