Raw fruits, raw vegetables, seeds, nuts, yogurt and lots and lots of prunes. That way I'd get some retribution when all body fluids are let loose upon my death.

The author jokingly suggested he would order something that will very slow and long enough till his/her appeal is heard and set free which very much mirrors Jespah's response. Maybe leather shoes might not be so bad as the starving sailors had to resort to when they ran out of food out in the open seas.

Well I think I would have lost my appetite, in the circumstances, so ...
I'd request a big, fat joint (which I haven't indulged in for ever so long!) & a big glass of the most expensive sauv blanc going.
I think those might get me through.
