Oh sweet! I can't resist this challenge...
Within the essence of the vacuum cleaner is therein represented the "me" interacting with my world. The engine's hum like the constant energy we all give off in living our lives - the slow molecular decay of all things, returning to the abyss - the toil of moving the upright handle; also, is not unlike the daily toil of living in the moment, shackled to the mundane triviality of day to day life. Yes, I think it has much significance; needing energy like I do, my neighbor does, it serves its purpose - for what are any of us without some direction? Fortunately; for Mr Vacuum Cleaner, he was intentionally created for a purpose where we must find our own. Consuming, toiling and taking part in the great dance of the physical realm.
