I was looking for this. Can you tell me how many of these things have been done in America?

@wvpeach,
oppps i corrected it. Small case, mlurp.... I already e-mailed it to you about 30+ minutes ago wvpeach. No I won't type it in. Someone will think or say something about that. If anyone else has a problem reading it and wants a copy they can PM me and either give me their address or e-mail. And if they are worried about using their regular e-mail just open a new account for this one thing.

You can say whatever all you want, but it came out in '69, and if you put the content into context of the era it rings true.

Kind of like this...

FBI Pamphlet - Who's a Terrorist?

Propaghanda

@92b16vx,
Guess I will need to say again thanks for your point of view and for posting it.
But I would prefer you post the entire message so I can read it without clicking on the link I know not where it will lead me. I try hard to keep my machine clean from all the nasty things out in the great WWW.
Besides all I asked with the original post was what if any of the items on the list can anyone see that how come to be. So maybe if you just answered the question then we can go beyond it.
Besides I agree that America is in a world of hurt because of the direction government has taken us. In case you have missed me saying so in so many post.
Now do you care to answer my question before asking me one?

@mlurp,
The point I am making is that the items in the pamphlet are non-issues. They took normal things, such as differing opinions and attached a scary label of "communist" to it to spread propaghanda and try to divide people to keep htem in line out of fear. Just like what I posted. The F.B.I. took a bunch of things they wanted people to think were terror related, and associated them with terrorism...

Obviously someone that speaks of freedom, and the constitution is not a terrorist, but they saw fit to include it for some reason....hmmmmmm

@92b16vx,
Very good point.
But what I did post was far from this. And still if you read it you haven't answered my question.
It does not matter if it is scare propaganda or real. The point I am trying to make is all of the items on the list have come to bear fruit and by our own government doing the stupid things. It's education plan, it's dealing with other countries the list goes on, right?
My main point was to show things are not right in this land. And offer a reason.

I understand what you are saying, my answer is that there is nothing abnormal in the pamphlet, those are things that humans do. The government has just seized on it as a way to draw another division against the people. It isn't a checklist of what to look out for to save America from communism, it a compilation of things that just happen, with a buzzword attached to it. Those things have been going on since America was founded.

@92b16vx,
I think the Machiavellians whom think far different than we do are using this list and others to take this country. Who is worried about being taken by commies, not me. A guide it is and anyone can use the guide. What my point is that each item on the list has been done by our government in some fashion. And our government is owned by the elite and Big Bussiness. I don't worry as much about big business as it has only one goal $. It is those elite's through out history that control and have their ideas become laws, that I fear!
But I respect your view and thank you again for the post.

@mlurp,
Mlurp have you ever heard of a social fact? It is a sociological term for an idea which is exterior to man, is imposed by coersion, in other words, through legislation, and is sanctioned by the majority. That happens, public ideas become laws. If you scare, or convince enough people into believeing anything you like I assure you it will become law.

@mlurp,
Why not just read it and give an answer. gee I ask so much. I know what you and other are saying. But the fact each step in this has happened and no laws are made to relate to any of this so why not just answer the question.

@mlurp,
What answer are you looking for? An agreement with you that these things have been done by our government?
Certainly in some ways these things have been done, but if you consider that they were the methods used by Communists in the past and thus all all wrong, you must relize that Communism has generally failed.
When we enact laws that LOOK like those tenets of Communism, we have gone through our own democratic processes to arrive there, and if enough voters register and vote to change things , they CAN be changed here in America, unlike in places that were taken in by Communism. They only got changed in some of those places by counter-revolutions and/or a rebirth of national conscience after the Communists had failed in their efforts to dominate.

You have the emotional maturity of a seven year-old. If somebody disagrees with you, refute them. If your argument is flawed or lacks a basis of fact, admit wrongdoing and move on.

I suggest that Bush and Co. have taken this country to the precipice of communism, moreso than any other others....shades of the KGB: surveillance, suspending habeas corpus, torture...disregard of the public will...failing to consult Congress...the list goes on and on...and where is the outrage from the Republicans? They have not only been complicit, they have encouraged such wrongdoings. Look at what Mitch McConnell's office has been accused of doing, as far as that S-Chip controversy :

Democrats and their cries for social reform and responsibility are a far cry from the days of LBJ and Nixon...Bill Clinton's shift to the right changed the DNC....Dems are asking for 'bare bones", compared to the orgy of spending by the military...hell, if just a fraction of the money spent by lobbyists, wining, dining, and wheeling and dealing, were spent on improving poverty, nutrition, food safety, and healthcare...we'd be better off than we are.
