Willard Scott, a veteran weatherman who spent 65
years at NBC and 35 as a Today show regular, has
passed away. He was 87.

He was very popular and famous; he was popular and famous when I was a youngster. I remember seeing him on TV. I used to compare him to Al Roker, another popular and famous weatherman.

Scott created Ronald McDonald and portrayed the character in ad campaigns for McDonald's in the 1960's. I knew he portrayed the character, I didn't knew he created him.

I hope Mr. Scott was Saved before he passed.
