Most of it in our investments - on paper only, except I did withdraw over 20% of our YTD gains in November.

We are planning on treating today just as any other Saturday: Buy the week's groceries, work about the house, laze around a bit. One more week until the merriment ends.
I worked around the house today too!~ Did some shampooing of our rugs in all three bedroom entrances where we have heavy traffic and more dirt.
Came out pretty good even though this is the first shampooing it got since the rugs were installed last year. .

Tomorrow it will be 84 degrees. A front is about to amble through, but only after spoiling the ambiance of a cold season holiday. One daughter may pop in late in the day. The wife and I will stay at home and cook for ourselves. I know an atheist does not thank supernatural forces or beings, but, each Thanksgiving, this one always takes stock of himself and the life about him. On the whole, life is good. Better than the alternative. Healthwise, I am holding my own and mrs edgarblythe is hanging in. Finances have always been a question mark, but we are much better off than many I could point to. I have more friends today than at any other time of my life. I have much to celebrate.

I overcooked the turkey, but it is still good. Just wating on a few side dishes to eat.
Well, I gonna string lights today. I no longer want to continue this, since we have no kids at home and it involves work. Oh, well. We did decorate the tree Thursday.

The season is like a train, unstoppable, moving across the landscape, full speed, all the way to the New Year. The situation at my job is not particularly festive this time, although the decorations are the best we have had. Too much office politics roiling the atmosphere.
At home, we are quietly enjoying the holidays, without getting out and without spending scads of money. It's a state of mind. We cannot be distracted by every ill wind that blows our way.
