Do you really think that terrorism against Americans or other countries will STOP if we pull out?

Do you really think that it is going to stop if we keep warring in their lands? If someone came to your house because your neighbor killed his dog, and punched you in the face, would you just let it go? Do you think that your neighbor, who didn't care much for you anyway, and never came over before, is going to care enough about you being punched in the face to stop killing your other nieghbors dogs?

@rugonnacry,
One of the myriad problems we face over there is the possibility of Al Qaeda taking over after we leave. We simply can't let that happen. We'd have to re-invade anyway, eventually, if that occurred. Face it -- we might be in Iraq forever, as costly and unnerving as that might be.

We aren't doing anything as it is to go after AQ. It's amazing that a rag tag force of an estimated 20,000 has the world scared that it is somehow going to take over a country if we leave.

@rugonnacry,
The NAtional Socialists were no bigger than 20,000 at one time too, and we used Ron Pauls fantastic Isolationism ideals, and what happened?

Have you noticed there has not been a world war in 60 years? Its not because we are more laxe and getting along, its because we stop it at the first signs, not when it all ready occurs.

The Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei was a collection of smaller nationalist groups that through political actions gained power, they weren't world-wide despised terrorist that had to flee to the mountians of Pakistan to avoid annihilation.

It didn't confirm anything you said because they were not in Iraq to begin with. Your statement would have to be valid to be confirmed, and since the Nazis were a political party that came to power in Germany, and AQ is a ragtag bunch of terrorist that have no country to call their own, they are nothing alike, nor is their progression, so you point is moot at best.

You obviously have no clue "how it is" if you are trying to compare the Nazi movement to AQ.
