I'm sorry but you are all over the place with your statements. First you say I'm all for peaceful means of achieving equality, then you state:

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Are you justifiing what Bin laden did? Are you saying innocent people deserved that? Because that is what it comes across as saying. It is dispicable to make that inference.
You need to understand that African Americans will never achieve equality due to the choices they make. As long as education and abiding by the law is not a priority then African Americans will have to sleep in the bed they make. Which is lower quality jobs (lack of education) and higher percentage of arrests (law abiding). It's funny, Bill Cosby hit the nail right on the head when he spoke out about Black America and its ill's. The African American community nearly drove him out of town on a rail. You don't want to hear that your community is self destructive, that your family unity is built on single mothers raising children without fathers. Here in Philadelphia, the murder rate amoung blacks killing blacks is the highest in the country this year. You want know why? Because amoung the African American community there is a "don't snitch to the police" mentality. So there is sense of lawlessness where they know that they can kill without fear of cops. This weekend a mother and two of her children were shot and killed in broad daylight. No one saw a thing. Then the black community leaders come out and condem the police. Police can't do a thing without community cooperation, yet the black community maintains the "don't snitch" as a community standard. Yet I know what you are going to say, the police can't be trusted and the police are racist. Thats funny, because 65% of the police force, including the commissioner and the Mayor are Black.
The African American community doesn't value education yet they want better jobs, they don't value the police, yet they want their protection, they don't have community values and they wonder why they are all killing each other.
The problem with inequality and the African American community starts and ends with their own community. Cannot have others respect you when you don't respect yourself.
Finally, the African American community needs to get away from the Democratic party. Why? The democratic party has systematically held African Americans down by way of making them dependent upon the government for their livelyhood. They have turned them into their own Welfare state and vote source. Keeping them down and making the opposition appear to be the reason why. The Democrats have never cared about the African American community until they realized they could use their votes, without giving anything in return. Democrats opposed Lincoln when he emancipated the slaves. They are the ones who instituted the Jim crow laws. They are directly responsible for the organizing of the KKK and the lynching mentallity that was pervasive in the south for most of the last century. You dont' believe me?
In response to Teddy Roosevelt inviting Booker T. Washington to the White house for Dinner as an official guest (the first black man to be invited) Democratic Senator Tillman stated on the record " Doesn't the President realize what he is doing, by inviting a nigger to the White House? Now we will have to lynch a 1000 niggers just so they don't forget their place in our society." He was speaking directly to the KKK who responded by lynching a couple of hundred over the next few weeks. The Democrats have systematically hindered the African American since it's inception, and yet the majority of African Americans are Democrats. The first African American's to become Secretary of State, Joint chiefs of staff, and many other very high ranking positions in the government all were achieved in Republican administrations. The African American community is sleeping with the enemy.
