History proves that in the Third World, there is a strong correlation between authoritarian, right-wing rule and economic progress. Yes, civil liberties and human rights often suffer, but it's generally trouble-makers in society who get their asses in a jam, not decent, productive, law-abiding citizens. Radicals want it both ways -- mayhem in the streets to feed their appetite for rebellion and destruction, and a fat paycheck hitting their bank accounts on time, every time, to finance their hypocritical, private, 'bourgeois' lives in the very societies they attempt to demolish. That only works here in America, largely because the middle-class still dominates, and doesn't care about much other than pursuing its private, self-sustaining lifestyle. Everything and everyone else exists on its periphery. In the Third World, there is no middle-class.
