I find this ludicrous and funny, so I am a racist...

I think your the narrow-minded one. You're too narrow minded to see the subtle differences that make Muslim extremists more dangerous than fundamentalist Christians. The fundies won't bother you, they only choose that path for themselves and do not attack those who don't follow their beliefs. Sure, they'll try to convert you, but who won't try to get you to believe what they believe? Muslim extremists will kill and torture and degrade and all sorts of fun stuff.

But you, you group them together as 'religious' or 'religious fundamentalist', they don't think like you so they're all the same, all imbeciles who need to be enlightened, right?

@SWORD of GOD,
So, in that respect, you'd be like a religious fundamentalist.

Correct, except I don't believe an imaginary Uber lord is going to send me to hell if i don't convert to the 10 true religions and denounce the rest.

I am as passionate as most fundies in my beliefs, I need to be, fundies who believe in stonning, women as 2nd class citizens, inscest, rape, infantcide and slavery should be guarded against, and that isn't just the Muslim fundies, lump in there the christ followers too. I am reading the bible at the moment,..some scray ass ways of doing stuff in there. When taken literally, hristians will be no different than muslim fundies.

That's a big steaming pile of bullshit!

what of the spanish inquisition or the salem witch trials? Or even more recently have you heard about "eye of the beholder" its about a true story where a Videostore owner was run out of business he recieved death threats to his little daughter and his family was broken apart and his friends were driven away, all because the movie's he had in his store didn't chime with the religious beliefs of some fundamentalist christians, that is but one example.

The scale of extreme fundamentalist terrorist activities can't compare with Muslim extremist terrorist acts.

You have those atrocities because they are third-world nations, you see the same thing happening on other third-world nations despite religion.

In Muslim countries, which are not universally third world, it happens because of religious beliefs, in other nations it does not.

But does it happen all that often in real life? No. Do Muslim extremists kill people in real life every day? Yes.

The West, under Christianity, has grown so that most nations are not theocratic. The Muslim world has not.

But you would say that strong influence of religious principles always lead to theocracy, right? However, we have seen, even with strong Christian principles for centuries, the West evolve into a secular entity while still keeping those principles instead of in spite of them. That has not happen, nor does it seem close to happening with the Muslim world.
