That scripture that I posted is a two part prophecy....Jesus did not come to rule the first time He came; He came to die for the sin of the world, and call those who would rule with Him when He returns.
SWORD of GOD;44435 wrote:I will help you and I will post all the related verses here, and I want you to tell me where does Jesus (PBUH) was claiming to be God !!?
Do you think God will prove himself by saying I was before one of my creaturs !!? is this sensible !!?
Clearly in these verses, Jesus (PBUH) just answering a question by the jews about comparison of him with prophet Abraham (PBUH).
The Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets also; and You say,'If anyone keeps My word, he will never taste of death.'[John 8:52]
"Surely You are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?" [John 8:53]
Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say,'He is our God'; [John 8:54]
and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word.[John 8:55]
Your father Abraham was full of joy at the hope of seeing my day: he saw it and was glad.[John 8:56]
So the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" [John 8:57]
Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." [John 8:58]
If you think that will make Jesus (PBUH) God for saying " before Abraham was born, I am.", then with this same argument you should also consider Solomon as God too because he said in your bible:
[ King James Version ]-[ Jer:1:5 ]-[ Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. ]]
If you pay close attention to what is said in Jer. 1:5 you will notice that God said before "I formed You". In other words before Solomon existed God knew him. This is not unique to Solomon, all of those whom God will call to salvation were predestine to be called. Before the earth was crerated God knew them. God transends time and space, so its no supprised that God knew Solomon long before he was formed.
For whom he did

Jesus did not say before He existed God knew Him, He simply said, "before Abraham was born I am. When Moses asked God what was His name, because the Children of Israel would ask him. God said to Moses, "tell them I AM has sent you. It is the same word that Jesus said, I AM.
