@Greatest I am cv,
The Questions No Christian Wants to Answer..continue without any real challenge

Undeniable Contradictions in the Bible

QUESTION:

Who killed Goliath?

(a) David (1 Samuel 17:23, 50): "And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them." ... "So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David."

OR

(b) Elhanan (2 Samuel 21:19): "There was war with the Philistines again at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver's beam."

So, How can the Bible be a Divine book when it contradicts itself like this !!? How can you trust such a book !?

This adds to the long list of evidences about the fabrications in the man-made bible.

"Do they not then consider the Qur'an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction." (Qur'an 4: 82).

This is an example of desperate pathetic responses by a christian apologist who can not answer any simple question regarding the clear errors and contradictions in his man-made Bible. Moreover, he can not support his statements or claims from passages quoted from his Bible. He will defend his false faith by unsupported self interpretations, self opinions, and false illusions without any proof even from his fabricated bible. This for sure indicates that he does NOT really trust his Bible even if he claims the opposite.

@SWORD of GOD,
For those who are ignorant:

Yes, prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) married Aisha (may Allah bless her) when she was 9 and he was 50. She was engaged to another man before him but that man was not a Muslim, so her parents broke the engagement. That was a norm 1400 years ago and none of the prophet's enemies during his time ever critisized him for marrying Aisha.

Can you ask yourself now why Joseph who was 90 years old married the 12 years old Mary (mother of Jesus) as the Catholic encyclopedia states: CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: St. Joseph

Also, can you educate yourself about the following fact:

In the USA last century, the age of consent was 10 years old.(and in one state, Delaware, the age of consent was only seven). California was the first state to change the age of consent to 14, which it did in 1889. After California, other US states joined in and raised the age of consent too.(Source: Campaign to Raise the Legal Age of Consent, 1885-1914, Lesson Plan

You see.... Muslim and Catholic have in common... Sword is now pointing on the Catholic encyclopedia as reference to justify Muhammad. Sword condemned Catholic but now is in agreement just to point out what Muhammad did is within spiritual realm..... What kind of reasoning do you have?????

Well Dr Islam has five basic beliefes that must be satisfied to be able to call ur self a muslim, one of them is the statement u r repeating, so i guess that makes u one fifth of a muslim loooolz( dont worry u lack the belief behind it), seriously though, u know very well (i suppose) that Islam recognisez Jesus as a messenger from God or Allah (which is the same ) not his son or anything near it, but a muslim must also believe that prophet Muhamed (pbuh) was sent to all humanity and that all must follow his teachings( including christians and Jews ) that is why i mention Muhamed and not jesus, plus that these wordings are one of the five basic beliefs of muslims.

1- First of all, if there was a prophecy then every christian would have become a muslim, so ur question is obviously answered by no.
2- As muslims we believe the original Bible to have mentioned mohamed as the next prophet, but changes made to the bible erased that part.
3- who is peter to say that there will be a false prophet, oh ya i remembered some one who never met jesus(with all due respect to him).
4- even if the Bible stated (although it does not) clearly that mohamed is going to come and he is not a prophet i donot believe in the Bible u have in your hands to be the one actually from God.

1. Why?

2. If there was no prophecy like you stated above why do you believe he was mentioned in the bible, where is he mentioned by name? "As muslims we believe the original Bible to have mentioned mohamed as the next prophet,"

3. Who am i to say, yet i will say it. I believe Muhammid to be a false prophet. You say your book is devine, yet it came through the mouth of muhammid interpreted by a scribe? These are not devine, they are words from one deranged man to another.

4. The Quran in your hands is from where? Made out of what? Paper and ink bud, that's all it is, made by a human hand. If you think you have something other then please explain how? You think otherwise because Muhammid said so, not God.
A good example would be me saying to my friend. Here, write this down. Then hand it to you and say Allah told me this and he said you had to follow me. What do you think the chance's are of you doing what i say?

@SWORD of GOD,
Despite the fact that we, Muslims, believe (as Allah tells us in the Quran), that the Bible (OT & NT) had been corrupted and altered by men, but that doesn not mean that some truth still remain in it as I stated from the passages said by Jesus (PBUH) quoted from the Bible itself to prove that he was not God but rather a great messenger of God.

Prophet "Muhammad" (PBUH) in the Bible

"Those who follow the Apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own Scriptures, in the Torah and the Gospel..."(Holy Qur'an: VII-157; Trans: Yusuf Ali)

Bible Prophecies about the Advent of Muhammad (PBUH)

Abraham is widely regarded as the Patriarch of monotheism and the common father of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Through his second son, Isaac, came all Israelite prophets including such towering figures as Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, and Jesus. May peace and blessings be upon them all. The advent of these great prophets was in partial fulfillment promise to bless the nations of earth through descendants of Abraham (Genesis 12:2-3). Such fulfillment is wholeheartedly accepted by Muslims whose faith considers the belief in and respect of all prophets an article of faith.

Blessings of Ishmael and Isaac

Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God's covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help light on this question:

1) Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him.

2) Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac.

3) In Genesis, ch.21, Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become a "great nation" in Genesis 21:13,18.

4) According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of the mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman"such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths.

5) The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600 years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of family tree was now fulfilled. But is there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?

Muhammad (PBUH): The Prophet like unto Moses

Long time after Abraham, God's promise to send the long awaited Messenger was repeated this time in Moses' words. In Deuteronomy 18:18, Moses spoke of the prophet to be sent by God who is:

1) From among the Israelite's "brethren", a reference to their Ishmaelite cousins as Ishmael was the other son of Abraham who was explicitly promised to become a "great nation".

2) A prophet like unto Moses. There were hardly any two prophets who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given comprehensive law code of life, both encountered their enemies and were victors in miraculous ways, both were accepted as prophets/statesmen and both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlooks not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well (e.g. the natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad but not of Jesus, who was regarded by his followers as the Son of God and not exclusively a messenger of God, as Moses and Muhammad were and as the Muslims belief Jesus was).

The Awaited Prophet was to come from Arabia

Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca). Indeed the King James Version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name for Mecca) in Psalms 84:4-6. Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on the earth." Verse 11 connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.

Muhammad's (PBUH) migration from Mecca to Medina: Prophesied in the Bible?

Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Medina according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one coming from Paran. That holy one who was under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to be received enthusiastically in Medina was none but prophet Muhammad. Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described in Isaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the "mighty" men of Ke'dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned to Islam.

Was the shift of religious leadership prophesied?

Following the rejection of the last Israelite prophet, Jesus, it was about time that God's promise to make Ishmael a great nation to be fulfilled (Genesis 21:13, 18).

In Matthew 21:19-21, Jesus spoke of the fruitless fig tree (A Biblical symbol of prophetic heritage) to be cleared after being given the last chance of three years ( the duration of Jesus' ministry) to give fruit. In a later verse in the same chapter, Jesus said "Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof"(Matthew 21:43). That nation of Ishmael's descendants (the rejected stone in Matthew 21:42) which was victorious against all super-powers of its time as prophesied by Jesus:"And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whosoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder" Matthew (21:44).

Out of Context Coincidence?

Is it possible that the numerous prophecies cited here are all individually and combined out of context misinterpretations? Is the opposite true, that such infrequently studied verses fit together consistently and clearly to point to the advent of the man who changed the course of human history, Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of God be upon him). Is it reasonable to conclude that all these prophecies, appearing in different books of the Bible and spoken by various prophets at different times were all coincidence? If this is so, here is another strange "coincidence"!

One of the signs of the prophet to come from Paran (Mecca) is that he will come with "tens of thousands of saints"(Deuteronomy 33:2 KJV). That was the number of faithful who accompanied Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of God be upon him) to Paran (Mecca) in his victorious, bloodless return to his birthplace to destroy the remaining symbols of idolatry in the Ka'bah. Says God as quoted by Moses:"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it of him."(Deuteronomy 18:19).

@SWORD of GOD,
Twelve Proofs that Muhammad (PBUH) is a True Prophet

1. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

2. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also foretold of everything that would occur to him and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as Muhammad foretold, as if he was reading the future from an open book.

3. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also brought an Arabic Quran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Quran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Quran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Quran.

Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Quran.

4. The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.

5. Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him.

Till today, those who believe in Muhammad honor and love him. Anyone of those who believe in him would ransom his own family and wealth to see him, even if but once.

6. All of history has not preserved the biography of any person in the manner it has preserved the life of Muhammad, who is the most influential human in history.

Nor has the entire earth known of anyone whom every morning and evening, and many times thereafter throughout the day, is thought of by those who believe in him. Upon remembering Muhammad, the believers in him will greet him and ask Allah to bless him. They do such with full hearts and true love for him.

7. Nor has there every been a man on earth whom is still followed in all his doings by those who believe in him.

Those who believe in Muhammad, sleep in the manner he slept; purify themselves (through ablution and ritual washing) in the manner he purified himself; and adhere to his practice in the way they eat, drink, and clothe themselves.

Indeed in all aspects of their lives, the believers in Muhammad adhere to the teachings he spread among them and the path that he traveled upon during his life.

During every generation, from his day till our time, the believers in this Noble Prophet have fully adhered to his teachings. With some, this has reached the degree that they desire to follow and adhere to the Prophet's way in his personal matters regarding which Allah has not sought of them to adhere to in worship. For example, some will only eat those specific foods or only wear those specific garments that the Messenger liked.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad repeat those praises of Allah, special prayers, and invocations that he would say during each of his actions during day and night, like: what he would say when he greeted people, upon entering and leaving the house, entering and leaving the mosque, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep and awaking from sleep, observing the new crescent, observing the new fruit on trees, eating, drinking, dressing, riding, traveling and returning from travel, etc.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad fully perform-even to the minute detail-every act of worship-like prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage-as this Noble Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) taught and as he himself performed.

All of this allows those who believe in him, to live their lives in all aspects with this Noble Messenger as their example, as if he was standing before them, for them to follow in all their doings.

8. There has never been nor will there ever be a man anywhere upon this earth who has received such love, respect, honor, and obedience in all matters-small and large alike-as has this Noble Prophet.

9. Since his day, in every region of the earth and during every period, this Noble Prophet has been followed by individuals from all races, colors and peoples. Many of those who followed him were previously Christians, Jews, pagans, idolaters, or without any religion. Among those who chose to follow him, were those who were known for their sound judgment, wisdom, reflection, and foresight. They chose to follow this Noble Prophet after they witnessed the signs of his truthfulness and the evidences of his miracles. They did not choose to follow Muhammad out of compulsion or coercion or because they had adopted the ways of their fathers and mothers.

Indeed many of the followers of this Prophet (may Allah's blessings peace be upon him), chose to follow him during the time when Islam was weak, when there were few Muslims, and when there was severe persecution of his followers on earth. Most people who have followed this Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) have done so not to acquire some material benefits. Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet. Despite all this harm and persecution, this did not turn them back from his religion.

My brethren! All of this clearly indicates to anyone possessing any sense, that this Prophet was truly and really Allah's messenger and that he was not just a man who claimed prophethood or spoke about Allah without knowledge.

10. With all this, Muhammad came with a great religion in its credal and legal make-up.

Muhammad described Allah with qualities of complete perfection, and at the same time in a manner that is free of ascribing to Him any imperfection. Neither the philosophers or the wise could ever describe Allah like such. Indeed it is impossible to imagine that any human mind could conceive of an existing being that possesses such complete ability, knowledge, and greatness; Who has subdued the creation; Who has encompassed everything in the universe, small or large; and Who possesses such perfect mercy.

Nor is it in the ability of any human being to place a perfect law based upon justice, equality, mercy and objectivity for all human activity on earth like the laws that Muhammad brought for all spheres of human activity - like buying and selling, marriage and divorce, renting, testimony, custody, and all other contracts that are necessary to uphold life and civilization on earth.

11. It is impossible that any person conceive wisdom,, morals, good manners, nobleness of characters as what this honorable Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought.

In a full and complete manner, Muhammad spread a teaching regarding character and manners toward one' parents, relatives, fiends, family, humanity, animals, plants and inanimate objects. It is impossible for the human mind alone to grasp all of that teaching or come with a similar teaching.

All of that unequivocally indicates that this Messenger did not bring an) of this religion from his own accord, but that it was rather a teaching and inspiration that he received from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens above and created this universe in its miraculous architecture and perfection.

12. The legal and credal make-up of the religion that the Messenger, Muhammad,(may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought resembles the engineering of the heavens and the earth. All of that indicates that He who created the heavens and the earth is the One Who sent down this great law and upright religion.

The degree of inimitability of the Divine law that was sent down upon Muhammad is to the same degree of inimitability of the Divine creation of the heavens and earth. For just as humanity cannot create this universe, in the same manner humanity cannot bring forth a law like Allah's law that He sent down upon His servant and messenger Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him).

@SWORD of GOD,
The Noble Quran

The following article contains most important aspects and issues about the Noble Quran:

The meaning of the word "Quran":

Al-Quran is an Arabic word, literally meaning 'reading' and 'recitation'.

Al-Quran is the word of Allah, the one and only GOD. Quran is The Book of Islam and is the final divine guidance in the line of Holy Scriptures.

Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a period of 23 years starting 13 Before-Hijrah (610 AD).

Contents of the Quran:

Composed in 114 chapters or surah(s) of varying lengths, the Quran covers a wide range of subjects. Quran has been revealed for the guidance of mankind and invites the people of wisdom to read into its pages to enhance human knowledge about the universe and Creator, and to create environments where man could live in peace and harmony with the fellow human beings and with the Nature. It puts a special emphasis on the concept of oneness of god and his concern about the spiritual and worldly welfare of man. The holy scripture also enlightens on the creation of the world, specially, of man; of good and evil spirits; man's responsibility for his actions; the Day of Judgement; the final account; and rewards and punishments.

The book also contains rules and regulations regarding worship and the life of the community, the laws of the family: like marriage, divorce and inheritance. Since the Quran is said to be the very word of god, it is untranslatable. Nevertheless, for those who don't understand Arabic, the Quran has been explained and translated into almost all world languages. Still, every Muslim is expected to learn the Arabic script to be able to read the original text, even if he does not understand its meaning in Arabic.

Quran commands authority and leadership and thus declares that if anyone has any doubts about the truth of the Book which has been revealed to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), then they should try to make even one passage which could match the Book, and poses the challenge that despite the knowledge and resources that man has , he will not be able to do so (re: Al-Baqra 2:23-24). This challenge has not been met to-date.

The language, the poetic element and the continuity of the Quran can only be fully appreciated by those who have the knowledge and command of Arabic language, though people who have no or little knowledge of the language get a wealth of satisfaction by reciting Quran or listening to its recitation. Translation of Quran in other languages can not reproduce the true meanings or the appropriate sense, therefore those who know no or little Arabic and would really like to understand Quran, should learn the language first. Perhaps it would be interesting to point out that enemies of Islam attack Quran mostly by using its translation or analysing its passages which are taken out of context.

The Quran has been preserved:

The documentation in writting about the Quran has been preserved in museums thoughout the world, including the Topekopi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey, the museum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and also in England. Keep in mind also, the Quran is only considered "Quran" while it is in the recitation form, not in the written or the book form. The word for what is written and held in the hand to be read by the eye is called "mus-haf" (meaning script or that which is written down).

Only One Version - Arabic

There are no different versions of the Quran in the Arabic language, only different translations and of course, none of these would be considered to hold the value and authenticity of the original Arabic Recitation. The Quran is divided up into 30 equal parts, called "Juz'" (parts) in the Arabic language. These are learned by Muslims from their very early beginnings as children.

Memorized by Millions - Entirely: How it has been revealed & preserved

The important thing to keep in mind about the Quran is the memorization and transmission of the actual "Rectiation" just as it came to Muhammad, peace be upon him, from the Angel Gabriel and was learned and memorized by his companions and they in turn, passed it down to their followers and continued in this way until we see today, over 10,000,000 (ten million) Muslims who have committed the entire Quran to memory. This is not a small feat. After all, how many other works of literary value have been memorized and passed down through so many generations, in the original language, without a single change in even one sentence?

Each Muslim Has "Quran" Memorized

All Muslims have memorzied a portion of the Quran in the Arabic language, as this is an important part of their daily prayers. Many Muslims have memorized large portions of the Quran from one tenth to one half to all of the entire Quran, and all in the original Arabic language. It should be noted, there are over one and a half billion (1,500,000,000) Muslims worldwide and only about 10% are Arab, all the rest are learing the Quran in Arabic as a second language.

God Speaks in First Person to Mankind in Quran

The Quran contains clear statements from Almighty God (Allah) and it is Him speaking to all of us in the first person. He tells of us our own creation, the creation of all that is the universe and what has happened to those before us and what is to become of us if we do not take heed of the warnings clearly spelled out in His Revelation. He speaks also to Muhammad, peace be upon him, to show that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is not making this up himself and even chastises Muhammad, peace be upon him, for making human assumptions rather than waiting for revelation in matters (ie.; surah At-Tahreem and surah Abasa).

Quran Mentions Itself

The Quran refers to itself as "The Quran" (The Recitation) and mentions that it is to all mankind and jinn (another creation of Allah, similar to humans in that they could make choices as to whether or not they would obey God's Commandments, and they existed before humans).

Quran Describes God's Nature Exactly

The Quran is clear on who God is and who He is not. There is no room left for doubt after reading the Quran in the Arabic languge: God is One. He is the only Creator, Sustainer and Owner of the Universe. He has no partners. He has no relatives; wives, children or offspring. He is not like His creation and He does not need it for His existance, while all the time the creation is totally dependent on Him. His attributes are clearly spelled out as the epitome of each and every one. He is for instance, the All-Knowing; the All-Hearing; the All-Seeing; the All-Forgiving; the All- Loving; the All-Merciful; the Only One God. There is never a contradiction to this found anywhere in the Quran.

Quran Challanges Readers

The Quran makes the clear challange, that if you are in doubt about it - then bring a book like it. Also, to bring ten chapters like it and then finally, to bring one single chapter like it. 1,400 years - and no one has been able to duplicate it's beauty, recitation, miracles and ease of memorization. Another challange for the unbelievers to consider; "If this (Quran) were from other than Allah, you would find within it many contradictions." And yet, another challange offered by Allah in the Quran is for the unbelievers to look around for evidences. Allah says He will show them His signs within themselves and on the farthest horizons.

Scientific Miracles in Quran

The scientific miracles of the Quran could not have been understood at that time, yet today we take for granted the many things included in the revelation of the Quran. Some include mentioning: The formation of embryo in the womb of the mother (surah 98); deep seas partitions; waters that do not mix; clouds and how they make rain and how lightning is caused by ice crystals; formation of the earth's mountains deep underground; orbits of planets and stars and moons - and even the mention of space travel (surah 55:33).

The Quran is full of verses talking about itself and here are few:

"And this Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds." [10. Surah Yunis: Ayah 37]

"Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy." [4. Surah Nisaa: Ayah 82]

"Surely We (Allah) Ourselves have revealed the Quran to you (Muhammad) revealing (it) in portions." [76. Surah Dahr : Ayah 23]

"We (Allah) have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an, in order that ye may learn wisdom." [12. Surah Yusuf : Ayah 2]

"And it is a Quran which We (Allah) have revealed in portions so that you (Muhammad) may read it to the people by slow degrees, and We have revealed it, revealing in portions." [17. Surah Bani Israel : Ayah 106,9]

"Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction." (Quran 4: 82).
