Yeah.....during and after college, I fell for that chit, hard. It took me years to overcome it. When I returned for a master's in History, decades later, I discovered that the same profs -- those who had earned their PhDs in the 1960s -- were still preaching that dead doctrine. With the USSR in ruins, smoldering to high heavens in its hideous wreckage, with Cuba totally bankrupt, Latin American communist revolution hence long-since dead, and China quickly capitalizing its economy to avoid the same fate as the USSR, THEY STILL SPOUTED THE CONFUSED, MARXIST LEGENDS AND TWISTED FABLES THAT HAD HARASSED, MAIMED AND MURDERED SO MUCH OF HUMANITY SINCE OCTOBER 1917. It was then that I awoke to the reality that the entire story-line had been a myth, from start to finish. It was one gigantic lie, a lie that killed hundreds of millions of people, with the full approval of Western, Leftist intellectuals. I now loathe that lie, and wish ill upon all those who persist in its propagation. :no:
