Dear Diary,

Today I learned, sadly, that a friend is very ill. Although it saddens me, I know that she will do everything she can to stay tough and determined. My thought are with her as I write this.

Take nothing and no one for granted.

SoCal....

Aaron, maybe this wasn't the right time to add that post. Socal is losing a good friend and he feels saddness.
Ask him another time.

Take nothing and no one for granted, so true.

Disrespect? How can you respect someone who routinely insults our intelligence as responsible and competent Americans, and clearly has no clue how to govern from the center (mindful of both Democratic and Republican constituents, and their points of view), and arrogantly pursues his own agenda, without considering anyone. Clearly, the American public was behind him when he made the case for war, with the notion , backed with "credible" intel that Saddam possessed WMD.....only to be revealed as a bald faced lie, with no gameplan following Saddam's overthrow. Incompetent. Misguided. Arrogant. Reckless. Inflexible. Stupid. Ignorant. And on and on.
He is the absolute worse thing to happen to America outside of the attack of 9/11, bar none. And I pray, nightly, for him to be impeached and thrown under the jail.
How how could it possibly be partisanship when members of his own party are distancing themselves from him.....his good old boys have even jumped ship....and you can count the remaining members on one hand. Where is the partisanship...you, once again are clueless.

Aaron, your political judgment is shot. You hate most of America, and possibly even humanity at large. As you once said to me, "I can't help you."

@aaronssongs,
A belated hello to the people here - I've gone AWOL and apologize for the gap in time ... still have to read up on all the latest grizzles and hope you are all doing well in spite of the current gloom and doom we are experiencing regarding economic news.

Wondering if MissDixy has moved to her new digs for the start of the school year yet and want to wish her a great experience ahead.

Red - didja get the darn cottage finished yet? Does he have pictures of women all over the walls hehe....

Hi Socal....still reeling over your good fortune in capturing that lovely wife of yours... you make a stunning couple....

Later folks....have a great Saturday

I appreciate your sentiments, Tvsej. And as a fellow human being, I feel compassion for anyone in Socal's position, as I would for myself. I sympathize.
But he chose to share his feelings within the forum...and based on the vitriol and exchanges of the past, I have to wonder if he really believes what he has written, and practices what's preached, or if the words ring hollow and are said 'for effect'.

And yours is opinion, and not based in any truth.
I do not, as you have said, "hate most of America", just as you assure us you wish no harm to happen to Hillary Clinton (at least not of your making, so you say)...and I consider myself a "humanist", so you, once again, ad infinitum, are "barking up the wrong tree".
I never solicited your help. I wouldn't, even if I were to need it, which I don't. You can't even help yourself, let alone anyone here.

To quote my Grandda, he's a right fine arsehole. Psycobabble a "Narcisistic."

Dear Diary, we had a wet and wild day yesterday the reminants of a tropical storm. At least six inches of rain and high winds. I spent the day repairing the damage to the garden. I swear I have bugs in my hair and in other areas. Today dawned cool and fallish. Labour Day week-end saddens me, it's the end of summer and everything is dying. On a happy note, I won't have to listen to the neighbours kids scream all day and night. Night Diary, I also wish Scooby was a teenager again. Grasshopper has so much to learn from myself and Socal. Is he up to the challenge Diary?

Skinnard, I want Christian Civilization to endure. What the heck do you support? I'm actually afraid to hear the answer.

Of course we ridicule each other. That's part of the fun. Worked for a guy in the military who once said, during an MRE-lunch on the hood of his HUMV in the Mojave, training, "Unfortunately, the only way to stay sane out here is to fug with people." I hated to admit it, privately, but he was right.

Skinnard? Is that an insult...I'd watch myself, if I were you...you don't want to be "banned".
I support a lot of stuff....I don't support a lot of stuff...can you be specific? Do you know what specificity is? I'm actually afraid to hear the answer. LOL

Well, unfortunately, you've come across someone that doesn't play that game.
It's only ok if both parties agree. I ain't agreed. I take myself seriously, and you've been way too familiar, without my consent.

@Red cv,
Skye nice to see you out and about or is that aboot at Conflicting Opinions. The cottage is on budget, cough cough. I took the day off to smell the ocean and eat fish and I took the other half with me kicking and screaming clutching his new recipercating saw. I hope you are breathing better and the wild fires have subsided. It was a lovely fallish day here today and the view from the beach was amazing. Sans camera you'll have to take my word for it.
