Do you think Obama has appeal because he is well spoken

or

his "cool" factor

or

his not being apart of the old Washington

or

because he is on point

I think its for three reasons

#1- people are tired of voting for old white guys.

#2- he was opposed to the Iraq war and is opposed to Iran war.

#3- He has a strong personality.

@Fatal Freedoms,
Barak isn't dumb, but he isn't well spoken, either. He has a degree from Harvard and still makes grammatical errors. He said, twice, on TV, "Hillary? Well.....I know that her and Bill Clinton don't like to lose." Hello???? Also, his statements are devoid of real meaning, and reflect serious naivete. His sincerity is appealing, and he has a strong sense of charisma.

Yes....I know. I know -- he's not as dumb as Bush. Do you have anything else with which to support his candidacy?:wtf::no::wtf:

He's NOT Bush.

I don't particularly like someone who thinks a supreme being talks DIRECTLY to him, telling him to invade, having his hand over The Fu*king Button (TM).

Man, it's like a dog with a brand new chew toy. Ya gotta wonder... if his pastor is so racist and he follows everything this guy says, why haven't we seen this from Obama? I mean... shouldn't we see ol Barack spewing flames from the campain podium? No? Why not? Perhaps he doesn't think that way.

I mean... at least when I chant "100 Years!", your presidential hopeful actually said that. Not his buddies, but him.

"Iraq: 2109" sounds like an enticing title for a video game, don'tcha think? Maybe they'll fight with BFGs and railguns in the future.

Nobody parses words more carefully than Obama. He openly labors over it. Public speaking for him is pure and obvious torture. Granted, he's a notch above Dubya, but not by much.

Of course it's torture. At that high of a level, you need to watch everything you say. Everything. He is calm, level and speaks clearly... even under that level of pressure.

That means he won't be tossing out taunts like "Bring 'em on!" or landing on an aircraft carrier for PR.

No.....he'll more likely start race-wars and give Al Qaeda access to sensitive intelligence, if not nuclear weapons. Pastor Wright could be the White House Chaplain (big time bennies -- limousine, mansion with servants, a pool in his bedroom, etc., etc.), and formulate plans for state-sponsored genocide. Other than that, I'm sure he'd do a bang-up job.:dunno:

Or better yet, he'll just SELL the United States to Al Qaeda. :frown:

Nah......he and his fellow Black nationalists want to do the dirty work to Whitie themselves. I can imagine Pastor Wright personally dropping the hammer on tens of thousands of White folks. Line'm up. Gun'm down. We deserve it anyway. After all, we invented AIDS just to kill off Blacks. I keep several test-tubes of the virus in my garage, just in case any of my renter-neighbors turn out to be Black.
