from the back of your throat = impossible?

Context:
(From King Kong)
Some guy, Driscoll.
From the Federal Theatre.
Don't knock it, honey.
At least they got an audience.

It'll pick up.
Isn't that right, Manny?
It always does.
(Maude)
See you tommorrow.

The trick is to start to build right from the back of your throat.
Works well out through the nose, too.

Actually, you don't provide enough context to know. However, from the back of your throat does not mean impossible. I suspect that the reference is to projecting one's voice, as in projecting one's voice while singing, or publicly speaking.

I think Set is right. But then, he's always right, no surprise there.

It's a description of how to make a particular noise on stage, maybe, but there's not enough context to say exactly what.

("King Kong"- imitating animal growling noises?)

But why

did you think it had anything to do with "impossible"?

@McTag,

All I could add to that is, for a student of English, Oristar picks the strangest texts.

@McTag,
My E to C translation is excellent (often published as a headline), but I do it voluntarily without getting paid.
Very Happy

Snapping the neck of double bass loose doesn's cost so much money, IMO.

Except that was a particularly expensive one.

@panzade,

My brother gave me an old bass he had in his shed. It's okay, the repairman said, but it needs fixing up.

Paypal would be okay for me......
