Why
must they resort to asking "outiside" forces for help?
There anger could grow, and trigger some major adrenaline rush . . .and then they can stop the person
or they resign themselves to their gruesome end .. . .
I can think of many things one would think of, as an athiest, before they change their whole belief system.
