I said from the start that I was not sure that it was you, so you dont have cause to get all offended. It was Set who said it first, but as you can see I did not care enough to remember, because it was not important. As has been pointed out to Set several times he has no knowledge that I have ever raped, so his claim is nonsense.

So you keep saying, but on the rare occasion when you have the decency to say exactly what the alleged error is I generally can point out the error in your argument. Just as you don the cloak of rationality to cover your clearly irrational opinions you also conclude that your opponent has committed logical and factual errors for the purpose of rationalizing your dismissal of them, your refusal to consider them.

Your lack of honesty with yourself hobbles your ability to conduct yourself in debate.

Perhaps the proving me wrong is done by PM then, because it is not done on the main board...

Most opinions I chose to share here are minority opinions, and during the course of debate rarely do I change enough minds to make my opinion the majority opinion. Maybe that is what has you confused, that in your mind I am only proven right if I can get enough people to agree with me, because so far as anyone presenting proof that I am wrong, that rarely happens. And rarely will it happen, because I am well educated and my positions are generally well thought out. Had there existed proof that my opinion was wrong most of the time I would have discovered it before I said anything on a2k.

You desperately need to learn the difference between something not being accepted by the group think, and something being wrong.

You are perceptive...No, I am one of three, but I was a fat kid who lacked in social skills due to bad parenting as well as nature, so I was never part of the herd. I have always been an outlier which allows me the distance and the altered perception to see things that those in the herd do not. I am not hostile toward the herd because my fondest wish was always to be part of the herd, so I busy myself pointing out things that could be helpful for the herd to know, even as I know that most of the time I will be ignored. And also because I have developed a bit of a fetish for the discovery of truth.

I don't believe that he displays the least well-thought arguments. I just think he has different priorities. He doesn't give a **** whether he contradicts his own opinion or makes any sense at all, as long as he can be looked at as the outsider. He loves to play the victim, so if he says something that's idiotic and it's pointed out, his desperate need to play the poor, put-upon martyr who is being treated unfairly will never allow him to admit it. That would make him reasonable, and maybe even considered one of the group, which is his worst nightmare. He is a fucked up damaged person whose every word should be suspect.

At least that's my favorite theory on rapist-boy at the moment.

Well, it may not be important to you, but it is important to me not to be quoted out of context. Set probably doesn't know what you look like either, but if he saw an asshole he would probably be correct in thinking it was you.

I have never claimed, nor even remotely implied that Rapist Boy is actually a rapist. However, he has, on more than one occasion, explicitly stated that he opposes the concepts of marital rape and statutory rape. Therefore, as a supporter of behavior which the great majority of people consider to be rape, i consider Rapist Boy to be a justifiable cognomen for this clown.

No. I was just reiterating that i consider the text of the original post to embody racism, whether or not the author so intended--and, in passing, without regard to what Orwell may have thought. It is worth noting that Orwell had no credentials for being an expert on political speech, and he died before the term "politically correct" was coined. About all Orwell has to contribute to the subject of political speech was his sour-pussed disillusionment as a socialist who at least had the honesty to see the Stalinist Soviet Union as a lie and a disaster. His pout, however, doesn't qualify him as expert on political speech. If anything, it makes him a suspect source.
