@Robert Gentel,
You're not a Brazilian fan?
Messi is great but he has a middle school kid hair cut

Argentina?

@failures art,
I tend to root for the best team (of players, not necessarily the best coached squad as I think Brazil is playing better than Argentina for the most part but with a slightly-less-talented squad) regardless of nationality. The last couple of cups that has been Argentina. A lot of times that is Brazil though, yes but this year they have a nice disciplined team but hardly the best group of talent in the cup (I'd put Argentina and Spain ahead of them on paper, but in Spain's case you have to automatically factor in World Cup shrinkage).

Messi has the skill to go down as the greatest player of all time when he's done, he's that good and that young (isn't he 22?!), and I root for the talent to shine (despite their coach etc).

ARGENTINA! Messi - arguably the best striker to not score a goal so far - has a fine game. Tevez gets two.

@Thomas,
I didn't think that England would loose ... but, honestly, I just needed a change after 40 years and was looking for an opportunity. And since the moustache started growing 40 years ago in England ...

@fbaezer,
It looks as if Yanks don't know much about sport when a pretty little thing like Cal is top of the ratings here and coming on top of my recent emphatic victory on rjb's "Pick-um" game when I'm only a Limey who knew nothing about American football, except that it is stupid, when I entered the competition. I was drawing away from the field when the inexplicably short season ended.

I didn't enter this one because I didn't want to cause that amount of embarrassment again to my friends on A2K. So Cal has stepped up to do the job. I'm rooting for Cal's choices from now on. Go Cal's choices.

You're an astringent piece of fruit aren't you. What an awful and mean spirited thing to say.
