Sorry to Englishland, but it's great news for the USA! Don't worry cousins, we can still make it out of the group together.

We'll even let you have Germany... heh heh...

@failures art,
After watching the replay (didn't see the game), I agree: the US was deprived of a legitimate goal.

@George,
But not to worry.

The US has played the better football in their group, and have by far the best mindset. Algeria has ver little offense. There is always the luck factor, but you should prevail.

I am not sure about the England-Slovenia game, though. I have not seen Slovenia, but either I don't understand Capello, or he doesn't understand his players or the whole team is terribly overhyped and overrated... as it usually happens with England.

Et0'o scored, helping George break away from the pursuing group, but he's still far from the leaders:

1. Francis 18
2. Calamity Jane 17
3. George 8
4. ossobuco 4
5. fbaezer 2
5. Robert Gentel 2
7. Pantalones 1
8. 7 players tied with 0 points

Gooooooooooooal, Fabiano! I finally get some points.
As do Lmur, Walter, Ehbeth, McGentrix, Fbaezer, Don Camilo and Robert.

@realjohnboy,
And I think the final -0- disappears as Italy's Iaquinta scores. I think Sjaradona is on the board. The BBC's story of the game was way too British for me to comprehend.

9 fantasy players scored today, 8 of them with Luis Fabiano. Now everybody has at least one point.

This changes the standings:

1. Francis 18
2. Calamity Jane 17
3. fbaezer 12
4. Robert Gentel 10
5. ehbeth 10
5. McGentrix 10
7. George 8
8. Realjohnboy 6
8. lmur 6
10. ossobuco 4
11. Walter Hinteler 4
11. Don Camilo 4
13. Pantalones 1
14. Sjaradona 1

(Please remember the tie breaking rules for players with the same amount of points: a) most goals, b) most headers, c) less penalty shot goals)...

And sorry about the fellers who dropped Drogba and got no points today (Pantalones, for example).

@ehBeth,
Had my Brazil jersey on yesterday and saw some other guys and gals
wearing theirs. I appear to have been the only one of us who didn't
speak Portuguese.

With Cristiano Ronaldo's and Villa's goals, all of Calamity Jane players have scored.

13 of us have David Villa on our rosters. Not George.
