So, I'm walking through the living room, and Wally's watching Good Fellas.
It's a scene where they've got all this cocaine spread out on a table, cutting it with a playing card.

Now, I've been married to Wally for over 16 years, and I can safely say he's never done coke during that time.

As I'm passing by, I ask "Did you ever do coke at all?"

yea....a couple of times.....too expensive.....can't do it now anyway with my heart....

"Oh darn, I'd planned on getting all jacked up with you tonight. I wonder if I can return it?"

What was the last conversation you had were you wanted to say "Really? Ya think?"

@ossobuco,
How?

I still have the receipt.

I can just say it wasn't the right size.

@ossobuco,
I remember two conversations, me telling him his brother said he couldn't imagine loving just one woman, conversationally, as we were making dinner and then
his telling me he didn't love me any more, including if I died.

Those were at different times, but connected.

We still talk long later. No way getting back, just understanding.

I don't even know if they make coke anymore.

I think I'll go down to Studio 54 and ask around.

Now, where's my Danskin skirt and Candies?

I wouldn't know where to begin... Bear and I have these conversations all the time. Joking, poking, verbal jousting to see who can get to the best pun or play on words first.

Early on, he usually won. Now, we're about 50 /50.

I can tell you though, that leaving the tag on if you plan to wear that tonight is not going to work as well as it did for the little black Gucci dress you returned.
