@Ionus,
Ionus wrote:Well of course you would say that. You have made no sense from the beginning and have been playing catch up with your knowledge of the military .
And yet you possess a seemingly intimate knowledge of homosexuals.
Ionus wrote:So you accept the aternative ? Homosexual men want to serve with heterosexual men because they like the idea of converting them ? What is so special about serving with men that the homosexual males and women want to serve with them ? The shower room view ?
So, either gays don't want to serve in segregated units because they're repulsed by other gays or because they want to convert heterosexuals? Those are the only options? Really, this must be some kind of elaborate joke.
Ionus wrote:Be honest: is this because your butch boyfriend is in the military and wants to exhibit gay pride ?
I'd ask him, but he's too busy having it off with your mum.
Ionus wrote: I dont think there is much about sex to be proud about. Shall we have men parade down the streets proclaiming : Hey everyone ! I stick my cock in cunts not arseholes and I am proud of it ! Or women saying I love cock but not licking cunts ! Feel any straight pride yet ?
Well, when you say it like that...
Ionus wrote:No, now you are playing dumb to twist things. The equivalent is heterosexuals serving in their own units. So why do homosexuals like it anyway ?
No, my analogy was pretty apt. You don't think it's a valid objection to serving in segregated units to say "I don't want to." But then that's the only reason that some heterosexuals don't want to serve with gays. If homosexuals shouldn't be allowed to use the "I don't want to" excuse, then neither should heterosexuals.
Ionus wrote:Because we are talking about homosexuals in the military. Are you playing dumb in the vain hope I will feel embarrassed for this one sided debate ? Are you trying to get the sympathy vote for being cleary handicapped ?
You are talking about what homosexuals want and don't want. Indeed, you think you know what they desire and what they detest. Surely those are subjects that go beyond the confines of the military. You've set yourself up as an expert on homosexuality (far more so than your presumed expertise on the military, of which I have, so far, seen no evidence whatsoever), yet you claim you've had no experience as a homosexual. So either you can comment intelligently on these matters, even though you are not a member of that group, or else you can comment on these matters intelligently and
are a member of that group, or else you can't comment intelligently on these matters at all. Take your pick.
Ionus wrote:I am sorry you have to leave, but as you pointed out, you are not knowledgable about the military and can not comment. I will continue to give expert advice to the general public.
I'm not going anywhere. And the next time you offer expert advice on this forum, on any subject, will be the first time.
