As I understand, the U.S. dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima at 8:15 am, on August 6, 1945. Was that Japan time or U.S. time? If it was Japan time, what time and day was it in the U.S. (eastern time)? If it was U.S. time, what time and day was it in Japan?

It was 08:15 (am) on August 6, 1945 JST, or Japanese standard time.

The 5th at 1830 (6:30 pm) EST USA.
