KUALA LUMPUR: In an unexpected move, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim applied to recuse the High Court judge presiding over his second sodomy trial on grounds that his two rulings concerning news reports of the case raised an element of bias.

The 63-year-old Opposition Leader applied to recuse Justice Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah through his lead counsel Karpal Singh in open court yesterday.
Karpal said the PKR leader wanted the judge disqualified from hearing the case, adding that the trial should not proceed until the application was disposed of.

What is the meaning of the clause ? I think 'disposed of' means 'granted'? Is the use of 'disposed of' correct?

Many thanks .

@tanguatlay,
In this context, it means "attended to", "settled".
