okay so i'm following a bunch of you (so stop doing that thing you're doing, it's disturbing), but what exactly does it mean

if you click on my name and go to my profile, you'll see a button under my picture that says follow user, click it and you're following me

you can go to your own profile and see who's following you

i'm just not sure what the applications purpose is yet, but i'm sure all will be revealed

Well, my avatar is there, but I still don't get it. I didn't click on yours. It seems that you and the tsar are following me. That must be a new feature. What is the purpose of it?

So I'm not following anyone yet. I'd like to know how this all works. If I follow someone am I notified every time they start a topic? Or (god forbid) every time they post? Can I un-follow someone? If some troll starts following me around can I get a restraining order?

I don't follow people, but I do go through threads on new posts, and do thumbs up especially witty or otherwise useful posts, and rarely but occasionally thumb down a post. I am guessing that I'm "following" those I most often uptick.

It shows you following an apple and you being followed by a couple dogs, some fruit, a cigar, and a spooky-faced cdk
