@edgarblythe,
What's the christian flag? is that little fish thing?

Anyway my immediate reaction was 'Thou shalt not worship graven images'

@hingehead,
I don't mind them having their flag. Just don't want government to provide it.

@hingehead,
From edgar's post...

Quote:
Created by a pastor in New York City a little over a century ago, the flag, which sets a red cross in a blue square in the upper left corner of a white field, has been used by both liberal and conservative Protestant churches, but rarely draws much attention, according to Elesha Coffman, a history professor at Waynesburg University.

@JPB,
I just realized that I pasted a big 'ol Christian flag in a thread titled "Atheism". Sorry, folks... I tried to pull it out but it was too late.

Relax, C.I. - It's just an opinion.
Can't really prove an opinion, now can I? It's like you're saying "G'wan! Prove to me that I'm boring!!"

According to CI, if you can't prove it - it doesn't exist.

@snood,
You should be able to give examples of what you are talking about; otherwise, you're just making claims you can't back up.

You provided the opinion:
Quote:
Is it because C.I.'s writing is all predictable, one-dimensional and unimaginative?

All I'm asking is for you to prove it from any of my posts.

@Intrepid,
That's correct; he made a claim. He should know what he's talking about when he provides those adjectives about my writings.

I have always told anyone they are welcome to challenge any of my posts or opinions.

If they wish to insult me, they must be able to at least say what they mean rather than making generalized statements that has no meaning - or they can't support.

Is that asking too much?

@cicerone imposter,
Not really. I don't think your writing is all predictable, one-dimensional and unimaginative ci. I think it is worthless. Foam from the mouth.

You must have insulted me with unsupported assertions hundreds, maybe thousands, of times.

Interesting description, spendi. Now prove it?
If it's worthless, why are you even responding to them with you inanities?

Actually, my challenges to you have always described why your post has no value or are prone to errors in English grammar.

So you do lies as well do you? And incorrect grammar.

@spendius,
You'll have to point out my lies. As for errors in English grammer, I admit to them. But, you claim to have read more books than most on a2k, and "we" expect your English grammar to be impeccable. I have pointed out those English grammar errors of yours that often lack any meaning. Find me any of my sentences/paragraphs with the same problems. You can't.

Here--last post

That is not true. Look back and see how often your challenges to me have been short, ignorant insults. You used the word "always" not me. You used "are" instead of "is". You needed "posts" and "have" to go with "are".

I don't recall any instances where you have "described" my asserted errors in grammar. You can't teach anybody grammer. Your own is terrible and I have not been so ungraceful as to point it out. And here's you pointing it out when you haven't seen any.

When? And what does meaning have to do with grammar. If a woman said to me " I aren't 'aving none of that" I would know what she meant. High Seas tried that one just yesterday. Nothing doing on examples there either.

Which is to say no meaning and there is no worse grammar than that.

@spendius,
Meaning has everything to do with grammar; it's called ability to communicate properly.

@cicerone imposter,
The ability to communicate properly is as dependent on the receiver as it is on the transmitter.

@spendius,
Actually, the person trying to communicate ideas has more responsibility to speak concisely with proper grammar.
