VANCOUVER, British Columbia " What is the difference between a Canadian and an American? The old question is coming up again here at the Olympics, with answers involving eagerness for war, ketchup, the pronunciation of toque or the ability to identify poutine and the Tragically Hip.

I think I am doing a bit better today. By my count I am up to around 55 points. Perhaps that will be enough to leap over Lmur and get out of the basement.

@tgordon92,
Psh I don't know why people are thanking you! Just simple math... I mean it's not like you have 50 different countries to skim through, and then see who picked which country and then figure out how many medals each person got and then add it to the previous days count.

I mean gosh, not that hard at all. But if you need help, I don't think I could handle it Smile

Thanks for this game man. Actually makes me care who wins unlike previous years where I didn't really have much pride or anything.

@tgordon92,
Thanks for the number work, tgordon92. I'm not a whiz like Seed, so I can't say I'd be able to take over for you.

Thanks!

Well, so much for my caution about Lindsey Vonn.
She took the gold for women's downhill.

Hey T.G., you and I must read a lot of the same stuff.
You've got Australia & Austria, while I've got Russia & Japan.
All our other picks are the same.

@George,
Do yall think Vonn was sandbagging with all of the drama about her injuries?

@realjohnboy,
Dramatics, yes.
Sandbaggery, I don't think so.

George,

I'd noticed that too. I now have two countries to root against, in addition to the ones I'm rooting for. Too bad we can't have a Russia vs. Australia hockey final on the last day to decide it all.

@realjohnboy,
Hahah! But, come on, he was practically .... um... wetting his pants with glee after his compadre slipped up. I'm all for mirth and happiness at winning, but that was ridiculous.

@littlek,
Okay. I don't have a tv and am not watching any of this. He behaved, in your mind, like an ass. I will, of course, accept your analysis without question.
