Dog Uses First Amendment Rights to Defend Against Hunter "Owner"

A dog recently used his God given gun rights in an attempt to escape slavery at the hands of his owner. Note that the age of the dog IS NOT IMPORTANT. Puppies have as much right to free themselves from slavery as anyone else!
Quote:
... The man got out of his hunting blind, set down his shotgun and went to retrieve some decoy ducks about 15 yards away. That's when his dog stepped on the shotgun.

The name and age of the dog were not available. The name of the dog's owner was not made public. The injured man was treated at Los Banos Memorial Hospital and released.

Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe . . .

One can only deplore the injustice which prevented the dog from getting the kind of training which would have allowed him to kill this tyrant outright.

@engineer,
Strange; the muzzle of the shotgun coud have been pointed
in any of 360 degrees of arc. Even with the shot cone
that a shotgun puts out, the chances of hitting him were minute.

@djjd62,
My favorite line is the one about the dog's name and age being unavailable.

@djjd62,
Maybe he was an animal rights activist,
defending his friends, the ducks.

@engineer,
1st amendment??

Quote:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Thats the 1st amendment.
I think you meant 2nd amendment.

The dog was probably a minor. Newspapers have rules about those kinds of things.

@mysteryman,
It wasn't the gun part that got him off. The dog was quoted as saying, "Twarn't me that done it, a weasel ran 'tween the trigger and the trigger guard."

I got it only after you pointed it out in this post. I guess I need less subtle clues like spelling the dog's name as Cheney. Neutral

Well given that most dogs have a life expectancy under 16 years of age, he or she must have been a legal minor. Go catch on this editorial decision Joe]. Wink

@engineer,
This is a clear example of the hunger that our canine buddies have for freedom. That is exactly the reason why I sent all of my dogs to The Dog Island so they can live in this paradise while being completely free and surrounded by their own kind.

@TheDogIsland,
While we're on the subject of puppy mills, are there any drugs I can give to shorten the gestation period and have more litters per year?

So, you are arguing for premeditation?
