Is sneezing two or three times a day without having a cold normal -- or is it a symptom of an allergy?

@gollum,
If you don't have other symptoms of an allergy, it is possibly something in the air like excessive dust that is causing you to sneeze.

A few sneezes a day don't constitute an allergy. Do you have any other symptoms?

@gollum,
Hi gollum, are your sneezes coming after eating? I ask because I often sneeze several times after eating. This is a reaction to eating quickly and is not evidence of any sort of an allergy -- it doesn't really matter what I've eaten, although spicy foods or soda are more reliable triggers. There are also times when I don't sneeze after eating (I haven't for a few weeks, actually).

Anyway, I hope this helps. One thing that will help is to start to record what's happening/what you're doing when the sneezing fits happen. Did you just get up? Eat? Clean house? Go outside? A pattern might be visible after gathering some data.
