My first kiss was in first grade. I kissed the girl on the cheek and then sat beside her at lunch. She promptly turned around and smacked me on the same cheek that I had kissed on her. I remember going home (in first grade we did half days and went home right after lunch) and still having the hand print on my face. My mom asked me what happened. I told her the story, and ending the story I looked at her and said "I think she likes me".
My first real kiss was around the same age. (perhaps it was you... I dont know.. it was dark out :-D) My sister was having a slumber party for her birthday and they needed one more person for even teams of hide and go seek at night. The girl I was with (who was 2 years older then) initiated the kiss. I remember thinking eww as well.

I recall some good ones, as well as failures. My present wife was very difficult to persuade into a kiss. She was sparing with them before we became engaged.
Well a kiss is a very intimate, personal thing, edgar. You gotta be sure about it before you do it, right?
