Rex Red: NEVER put a whole egg in the microwave with its shell... I tried it once. It was an "experiment". The microwave beeped and I opened the door. I looked at the eggs and the outside air hit them and they blew up in my face like artillery shells. LOL i was not hurt i don't think.

(There are other ways, but) the mind becomes lost and you cannot fix on which instrument to begin with to write an idea and a bassline then comes to you. Where.. for a moment of grace, and silence, each change contrived in the bassline is exactly what needs to be said at that time, then everything around it falls into place. You record the bassline, edit it and then it is the center of your entire song. rr
