Hi Rex - I would put this on your songwriting thread - the one I responded to when you posted a video - but I don't remember the name of that thread.

Anyway - saw you were here today and I just found this song - one of my long-time favorites - on youtube yesterday.
I'd heard it done by Melanie - the brand new key girl - way back in the day - anyway have always loved it.
It was written by Jesse Winchester - another one of my favorites from back in the day. Do you know him? You should try to get his album, 'Nothin' but a Breeze'...I think you would like his songs.

This guy is Scottish - does a good job singing it - but I think you should cover it. I can HEAR your voice doing this song- and doing it well. What do you think?
