The more I thought about Tallulah, the less I could feature myself standing on the porch calling her back inside. I'm leaning toward "Lily." It's feminine, it's French, and it has two syllables. I had a standard poodle once before, and his name was "Marcus"; Of course she will be called everything from Lil to sweetie to babycakes. ''what do you think of Lily.

Neat. I was rooting for "Lily" for her name. Since she's French, you might spell it "Lili" (not that she'll know the difference) as in "Lili", the 1950's film with Leslie Caron as Lili, where she sings what became a huge hit song (by someone else I think), "Hi Lili, Hi Lo"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLzGtDh0DfI

and also as in "Lili Marlene" the sweet sad song that started out as German, but that all the soldiers of all the armies fighting in WWII adopted as their own.

Here's a link to the British version by Vera Lynn, which was one of the most popular songs in England during the War

@mags314772,
just found out that the tips of her ears have been frostbitten from being out on the highway protecting her pups. She will lose the tips of her ears, but it won't show because the hair will grow over them

You could boost her self-esteem by buying her some earrings....

@ossobuco,
What is the 'two syllable rule'? Just curious - I've never heard of that.

Here is Lily. She's a lovely girl, housebroken, gets along with cats. Has a little destructive anxiety going when we put her in the kennel and leave the house. Last time she pulled into her cage and shredded sheets,a robe, and part of an oriental rug. <img src="http://i1016.photobucket.com/albums/af282/mags314/IMG_0336.jpg">

Last time we left her alone, she shredded two sheets, a robe, and the corner of an oriental rug, which she managed to drag into the kennel.
