@cicerone imposter,
My travel buddy and I ordered the big one (by mistake) for US$24 in Rhodes last year. Embarrassed
I couldn't finish mine, but my friend finished his.

@cicerone imposter,
I envy the fact that you get to try these beers in their native countries.

Many years ago I sat at an outdoor table in Firenze and drank a Peroni. I'll never forget the delicious flavor amid the beautiful surroundings.

@panzade,
I drank Nastro Azzurro while in Italy, but more wine than beer while I was there last year.

While on our visit in Orvieto, I had this white wine that was excellent!

@cicerone imposter,
Today's Forgotten English word of the day:
Robert Nates wrote:
Broken beer
Remnants of beer. Broken victuals is still a common expression, but broken beer sounds strange, as hardly applicable to liquids. Yet it oocurs.

@cicerone imposter,
My grandfather used to excuse his drinking beer by saying, "It's just liquid bread."

Andy, made my entire day if not the rest of my short life where my nephrologist has given me just 4-1/2 more years during which I'm supposed to cut my average of 12 oz a day still in half

@panzade,
Thanks Pan for this Yahoo listing from Find the Best, and I for one will be looking fwd to responses

Given two American old timers and two Mexican brews I'm inclined however to wonder about the credentials of the tasters

@panzade,
Those are the "top 10 beers" in the world?

Negra Modelo is very good, very drinkable, but not world class.

Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus just sounds gross.

Ballantine XXX ale is an inspired choice...but the rest, not so much.
I think availability is the driving factor of this survey.

@panzade,
Thanks. I was afraid to say anything for fear of scorn.I'll try the XXX on your recommendation. It's just so hard to beat an IPA.

Neo that's because they're all so much alike. Another way of saying that: The differences are subtle

Good eye Panzade. I'm not a professional beer drinker yet I find that survey highly suspect.
