@Ragman,
As he's not my biggest fan, it might be CI's attempt to cut me to the quick. He likes to wound me.

The tomb of the late owner of the Warstein brewery ("Warsteiner").

Since they brew (own) several brands, I'm not sure which one is the best ... but obviously, you couldn't get it in heaven or hell until recently.

We'll have to wait until we hear from "them" then. LOL

@tsarstepan,
The problem now is that I can't find a store anywhere other then that one bar that sells that particular beer (Peekskill Simple Sour).

~~
Tried Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer. Rather delicious though Whole Foods charged me 3 dollars more for the single bottle then the sticker price.

@Ticomaya,
Good choice, Tico. Though I prefer their slightly stronger variety:

Here in the Northwest, we have Diamond Knot's offering:
They're opening a pub right next to my post office, giving new meaning to the phrase' "I'm going for the mail, dear."

My current favorite, available only on tap:

I don't drink beer, but in the North-East of England, the favourite is Newcastle Brown Ale.

I've settled into a steady IPA consumption.
Sierra Nevada Torpedo which I think is world class

and Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA, not quite as good but more economical

I'm a cheapskate so I'm recommending the price. Sometimes as low as $11.99 for a 12-pack.
It's not as magical as Torpedo

@panzade,
Yea Pan, Torpedo gets excellent scoring at tastings of the The Greater Southwest Beer-Tasting Society

Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA, Ca 8.0/7.7; 5.8/8.1; 9.0/8.3; 9.0/8.0; 6.4/8.3; 8.0/8.6; 6.2/8.8; 4.8/7.2; 7.6/8.4; 3.9/7.7; 3.4/7.2; 5.5/7.1; 7.7/8.5; 9.0/9.6; 9.4/9.3; 7.9/8.8; 9.7/8.3; 5.8/7.9; 4.5/5.9; 8.2/6.2; 7.6/8.0; 6.0/9.0; 6.0/8.0; 9.5/7.9

This is on a nonlinear scale of 10.0 where 3.0 is passable and 5.0 excellent, while a score of 9.6 is practically unheard of

Reading along...

Being from Boston I got to taste Sam Adams a lot and I'm generally partial to it's varieties. Fond of Blue Moons, too. They're not exceptional...just good, consistent, and relatively cheep in the craft beer category. I like IPAs some wheat beers.

I place an expense ceiling on my beer prices for the most part. Unless I'm experimenting to learn what is new to me and excellent....about once or twice per year. Sierra is very good but is too expensive a choice here ($9 six-pack)

Generally, I spend no more than $7.50 or $8. I love a Belgian brew (6.6% alcohol) called Leffe Blonde Abbey Beer, approx $7 .

Got some bottles of Trappiste Rochfort as a gift.
The "10" was strong stuff.
