Had a bit of rain here, too. A bit of a downpour one night through the week, when my garage flooded. Some rain today, not much though.

But it's turned cold! As in Melbourne, it's not much over 10 degrees - and this is almost summer. Freakish is right!

I have a concert tonight (Hesperion XXI) and I was planning to bus in. Now I'll have to rug up a fair bit. Rats!

Cricket's coming to Adelaide next week, Deb. That'd be a good time for rain. Unfortunately, I just miss it Confused (the cricket, not the rain)

Definitely "yes" to the veil work, ehBeth. (I'll let you know when, Mr S!)

Now, about these zills ...... I'm not so sure. Perhaps if you tell us first exactly what they are? .... & how you intend to use them?
Better to be safe than sorry, I always say!

@margo,
Yeah, I know, margo ... very strange, even for Melbourne!

I don't suppose you'd like to join Izzie & ehBeth in a bit of a rain dance? Me, I need to keep at this tambourine thingy! Getting pretty good at it! Very Happy

@msolga,
Zills are the finger cymbals that cabaret-style bellydancers use. Not terribly tribal or authentic, but they are noisy and fun!

I'd be happy to join in - but dancing is not exactly my thing.

Firstly - it takes a considerable amount of alcohol to kick it off - and then - everyone else should retire about 10 metres.

And a warning - I have absolutely no sense of rhythm. Apart from that.....

let's go!

@ehBeth,
Sadly, ehBeth, it didn't work. Sad

The sky has suspiciously blue patches, though a rew darkish clouds are beginning to reappear ...

Surprised Just as I typed that, it started to rain again! Honestly, I'm not making this up! Now the sky is clouding over again, like someone just turned off the lights.
Mad weather!

Thank you for your effort on our behalf. You did well. And thank you, too, Izzie & margo!

I love those zills! They're great! I want some! You couldn't help but make an impression if you entered a room, clicking away ..... Very Happy
