Some purported experts on dreams have asserted that nightmares
r your subconscious mind 's way of shouting a message at u.
Thay have recommended that e.g., if u have a nightmare
wherein someone is chasing u with an ax,
that u turn around toward him and ask:
" what message do u have for me ? "
U can give it a shot if u wanna.
Maybe record the results on tape or paper.
farmerman wrote:SO, getting back to the NDE's. Im still quite dubious that someone who's really dead
is in another enrgy plane where he or she is enjoying a state of "oversight" on the physical plane.
I dunno; there r a few different angles of looking at this.
The paradigm is that at first, thay r indeed very attentive
to what is going on, in efforts to rescue them, and as to
the status of decedent 's family. Their testimony has been that
when thay begin a life review experience, in the presence of a
Being of Light (Who is a mindblowingly emotional experience to see, lemme tell u)
thay do not have observation of the Earth nor of their family,
HOWEVER, thay also say that at that time thay know that all
knowledge, all answers to all questions are freely available
to them on an expedited basis. Hence, if thay have a question
qua their family that is a way of finding out, but there is also this:
I don 't know how to account for this.
I knew a defense lawyer for NYC Corporation Counsel.
He was an extrovert, a little bit of a loudmouth; kind of a tuff guy
in his demeanor, who u 'd not expect to hear discussing spiritual matters.
Surprizingly, he described the following (so far as I can recall; its been a while).
He was driving with his wife n children in left lane of a3 lane road
with which he was very familiar, having used it many times, uneventfully.
He said that he saw his deceased grandmother,
who was in a state of alarm, urgently telling him
to get out of that lane (for no apparent reason).
He complied. A car crossed over from the opposing
lane of traffic into his recently evacuated lane.
He barely escaped collision.
It was very unusual to hear him speak like that.
He was a very, very practical, down-to-Earth lawyer.

I dont know of anyone whose reported back from the "truly dead"
state and confirmed the verity of NDE's. No?
There is Janis Amatuzio, M.D., author of
Forever Ours,
whom I met at the 2003 Annual Gathering of American Mensa
in St. Paul, Minn. She has been the Coroner of numerous counties
in Minn. and others in Wisconsin (simultaneously) for many years.
In the practice of her profession, she has been startled by some
Rod Serling
type events concerning her clients, supplemented by communications
from their survivors that she has related. Its a quick n ez read.

I had an aunt, who was known in the family for remarkably accurate
powers of predictive & productive ESP;
e.g., my uncle was a very successful businessman
very well travelled all over the world for many decades,
with a very broad circle of friends over those years.
He came home and asked my aunt: "guess who I ran into today?"
She 'd answer: ". . . Joe Blow from whateverthehell country"
and be accurate. She had many siblings. She used to accurately
predict how long thay 'd live, surviving health emergencies or not.
She said that her deceased mother entered her dreams
and thay argued or negotiated qua their survival,
which proved to be accurate in the real world.
(I can 't describe it as well as she did.)
That 's about as close as I can come to answering
your question, Farmer.
